Production | Mountain View, CA | Full Time
Who We Are:
Pixelberry Studios develops hit, story-driven mobile games!
We’ve had a lot of commercial success, but we also try hard to make a positive difference in our players’ lives and the world at large.
We think games can and should be a powerful force for good, and our company culture reflects that mindset.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Product Manager to help guide the development of Sprout, a new game that we are in the process of producing.
This is a full-time position that will eventually be on-site in Mountain View, CA once our office reopens post-COVID-19 restrictions. Pre-COVID-19, we worked from home two times a week, so our team is used to the productivity of remote work but also cares about building culture from in-office interactions.
Who You Are:
You love stories and storytelling, and you're excited to shape the next evolution of interactive storytelling.
You're equal parts creative and analytical, pushing a combination of best practices and bold innovation to improve our products... along with testable criteria to inform iteration.
You prefer the term "data-reactive" to "data-driven" -- championing high-quality features on the path to a high quality of measurement.
You're an effective communicator, and you embody Pixelberry values of trust, compassion, and respect.
You want your work to be played by millions of people.
What You'll Do:
You'll work with the Sprout development team to create and present game plans and pitch decks.
You'll participate in defining, documenting, and developing new features that serve the project vision, along with valid test criteria.
You'll collect and report out KPIs clearly and concisely to executives.
You'll foster healthy communication within the team and work to maintain our healthy company culture.
You'll collaborate across internal and external teams as we push into bold new areas.
You'll keep up to date with industry trends and offer strategic insight on what Sprouts could be doing better.
Product Manager or equivalent experience on mobile or game products (minimum 5 years)
Familiarity with a broad range of design principles
Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and provide insight into trends
Experience with LiveOps and post-launch content planning
Experience setting up and maintaining thriving game economies
Experience starting and building new projects
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Critical thinking, calm under pressure
Degree in business, finance, marketing and/or statistics a plus
