Job Description

Database Application Developer

Phinge™ is developing a first of its kind software platform including an OS, cloud solution and consumer, business and social media applications. This will complement our state of the art mobile phones, tablets hybrids and peripherals. Due to the sensitive nature of the products and company we are building, information and the description of this job will be made available after submission and acceptance of applicants resume, other pertinent personal information and upon signing a non-disclosure agreement. Basic Qualifications

  • Ability to be responsible for designing; planning; developing and; implementing databases; including back end rules and procedures; data scripts; security; access; and documentation. Participates in the design; coding; enhancement and of relational databases in a client/server environment
  • Coordinates new data development ensuring consistency and integration with existing data warehouse structure
  • Manage all changes to data dictionaries; and entity relationship diagrams for the ALMIS and CG-LIMS systems and related sub-systems
  • Author internal validation documentation to include; but not limited to; technical specifications; special instructions; and regression test plans
  • Debug software and identify required corrections to meet specified requirements.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • 10+ years of experience administering/programming UNIX/Solaris/Linux systems
  • Fluency in languages including several of the following: perl, PHP, ColdFusion, JavaScript/jQuery, C, C++, shell scripting
  • 5 or more years of experience administering and programming against databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Oracle
  • Candidate must be able to work alone and closely with team members while maintaining a willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are required
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work requirements
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • Organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking
  • Experience with HTML, AJAX, CSS, and XML a plus
  • Experience in NODE.JS

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting Unix/Linux operating system, Internet-based applications and web servers.
  • Fluency in multiple programming languages.
  • Excellent customer service, leadership, organizational, communication and interface skills.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
