About the role

We are looking for a PR rock star who will help elevate our brand coverage in traditional press and who can further boost our brand awareness & engagement via social media. Once a start-up on a shoestring budget, PR has been central to our success and enabled us to become the brand we are today – we still value this today and want to step up our game.

To be successful in this role, you will bring the experience, acumen and confidence to lead our media relations and social media strategy; and you are hands-on to manage the day-to-day execution. You  must be creative, possess excellent written and communication skills and thrive at spinning and telling a story.

You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic office, and will be challenged with constantly looking for new and innovative ideas and opportunities to grow the presence of PeoplePerHour. What you will focus on

Creating and leading the PR and social strategy rooted in customer insights to build brand awareness and company reputation.

  • Initiating and running creative PR and social campaigns that generate significant coverage drive recommendation, word-of-mouth and organic awareness and trial

  • Developing an outreach plan including strategy, goals, tactics and budget

  • Coordinating all PR activities and creating assets & materials for press releases

  • Monitoring media and social landscape for insights, gaps and opportunities

 

About You

Ideally you’ll have:

  • 4+ years communications experience including media relations and social media

  • A proven track record of delivering creative and inventive PR campaigns against KPIs

  • Strong understanding of social media and digital video market

  • Exceptional interpersonal and influence skills

And you’ll be:

  • A creative, strategic and lateral thinker with strong presentation & verbal skills

  • A team player who rolls up their sleeves to get the job done

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Bonus points if you have:

  • Worked in start-up environment

  • Event management experience
