About the role
As our Content & Community Manager, you'll be responsible for agreeing and leading our content strategy. You will be driving all aspects of our content marketing from managing our social media platforms to writing SEO-friendly blog content, producing articles for our PR campaigns and engaging with our extensive online communities.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to possess an excellent and proven level of written English. You need to be a creative writer with a passion for content marketing and have the ability to produce insightful content reports. If you have the right combination of creative flair and an eye for performance and you want to impact real people's lives, then this might be the right job for you!
What you will focus on
Defining and implementing the overall content marketing strategy
Driving consistency throughout all PeoplePerHour content, across all platforms
Manage daily engagement/community management - keep on top of comments and questions, and appropriately redirect or escalate complaints to the customer support team
Own, create and manage the content calendar
Analyze customer insights, use competitor research and stay abreast of the latest industry trends to ensure ideas are relevant and engaging
Develop ideas for social media/community engagement and turn them into unique storytelling campaigns that speak to our target audiences
Produce content for CRM, social media, SEO and B2B
Copywriting for emails, blog posts, product descriptions, web pages, and campaigns, ensuring it is keyword optimised and that all content goes live according to agreed timescales
Build robust reports to track spend, performance, impact, pacing and recommend optimization opportunities
Ideally, you'll have:
2+ years of proven experience in content marketing
Experience in growing social media accounts
Strong understanding of the importance of brand consistency
Excellent attention to detail
A natural sense for creative thinking
Knowledge of creating SEO-focussed copy
And you'll be:
Passionate, creative and data-driven
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Bonus points if you have
Experience of tech B2B marketing
Graphic design capability
