The company is seeking to hire a Physical Security Enterprise Architect who will be responsible for supporting Account Executives in the design of video surveillance, access control, visitor management, user experience, and lifecycle solutions. Candidates need a strong understanding of how technology enables businesses to develop strategies and meet objectives. The Enterprise Architect will be involved in the entire sales and system design cycles, including participating in meetings to discuss key business and technology issues, assess clients' needs, identify products, and create the solutions that best meet those needs.
Role Responsibilities
- Identify customer needs and design the appropriate hardware and company services.
- Work with inside sales team to ensure that quotes are provided, and order requests are processed accurately and with the engineering team to accurately scope projects.
- Understand each target customer’s business model, map their organization, and identify their unique technology needs.
- Design access control and video management systems based on industry best practice standards.
- Develop partnerships with OEM Partners and optimize the joint selling opportunities.
- Support engineering with setup, programming, and configuration of network appliances and related software.
- Support engineering with commissioning and testing newly installed access control and video surveillance systems.
- Review, interpret and assist with proper execution of project plans: drawings, specifications, project data.
- Participate in project meetings with stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Create training documents and instruct end-users in the use of systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise related to access control and video surveillance systems.
- Obtain and maintain industry certifications and licenses.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of design experience in a high technology customer-facing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Analytical and critical thinker.
- Excellent understanding of business environments and challenges of IT operations in an enterprise-level corporation.
- Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives.
- Self-starter that is excited to be part of the initial group of employees for a high-growth company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to all stakeholders.
- Ability to approach customer and sales requests in a proactive and consultative manner; listen and understand user requests and needs and effectively deliver.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills, and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment.
- Comfortable managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
