Director of Marketing 

Professional Diversity Network, Inc. (NASDAQ: IPDN) is a global network tailored to providing diverse professionals around the world with access to networking and employment opportunities through multiple brands in the US and China. 

We are now seeking a seeking a world-class Marketing Director obsessed with amplifying our story, creating customer journeys and driving growth for all our lines of business. 

Reporting to the Senior VP of Operations, and working closely with Sales and Client Services, you will manage all marketing programs and demand gen to execute omnichannel Go to Market strategy. 

As a director, your core objective is working across the organization and overseeing the execution of multi-channel, multi-touch programs, including local marketing activities, events, business development all aligned with critical stages of the member journey. This role is unique as you will work with B2B and B2C campaigns and is both strategic and tactical – candidate MUST be able to execute in addition to develop a long-term vision for the function. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust, integrated marketing plans for membership acquisition and retention optimization, emphasizing the desire of the brand to build long-term relationships with customers.

  • Maintain marketing automation platform, HubSpot. Develop marketing automation initiatives, including building segmentation, targeting and personalization approaches to defining optimal touch-point strategies.

  • Oversee development and implementation of direct marketing and advertising campaigns including digital, print and social media.

  • Create scalable and efficient processes to execute comprehensive, omnichannel marketing customer experience.

  • Manage the social media, digital acquisition/lead gen, and creative functions.

  • Work closely with IAW spokesperson to manage media placements and distribution of all media.

  • Leverage marketing reports to track performance, execute the above at scale and optimize efforts.

  • Oversee development and execution of internal and external workshops at scale and efficiency to support member to member sale and local chapters.

  • Coach regional program leaders to create strategies and tactics that drive engagement and conversion of customers across multiple channels.

  • Explore and build co-branding partnerships with affiliates and develop and execute marketing plans that foster strong relationship ties between involved parties and that benefits our customer base.

Experience:

  • At least 8 years of marketing experience with a subscription-based company or membership organization.

  • Must know or be willing to learn HubSpot.

  • Brand positioning development, refinement, and management experience a must.

  • Experience with consumer consumption of online and offline products, membership organizations, event marketing

  • Expertise in managing brand communications across all social media venues

  • Experience building CRM programs and selling to a variety of constituents

  • Familiarity with Mobile outreach through SMS and MMS

  • Data analysis and strategy development skills a must

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required; Master’s degree is a plus
