JetPens is a growing online retailer with over 20 years of history. We specialize in premium writing instruments and office supplies, and have been featured in Wired, New York Times, and CNBC.

Role:

  • We are looking for a Customer Service & Product Content Specialist to join a friendly and collegial team to answer customer questions, help resolve issues, and produce product content for our website

  • This is the perfect entry-level job for problem-solvers who enjoy the world of stationery.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
    • Answer customer questions via email mostly and phone occasionally.
    • Resolve customer issues with orders, refunds, and exchanges.
    • Process product returns.
    • Monitor product reviews.
    • Support customers' special order fulfillment requests.
  • Product Content:
    • Write product descriptions and produce content for our website.
    • Collect product specifications.
    • Take and edit product photos.
    • Keep product content updated and accurate.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Patient, courteous, and empathetic.
  • Highly computer literate. Most of the issues will resolved through the use of tools on the computer.
  • This is an on-site only position. We are located in San Jose, CA.

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience in e-commerce customer service.
  • Strong interest in writing instruments, stationery, and office/art supplies.
  • Excellent handwriting and drawing/painting ability. We sell writing instruments and art supplies after all!
  • Experience with Photoshop.

Hours & Pay:

  • Salary range: $22.00 - $34.25 / hour
  • Business hours are 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
