Sales Developent Representative

Job Description

Payza is the leading global online payment platform that specializes in e-commerce processing, corporate disbursements, and remittances for individuals and businesses around the world. The e-wallet platform provides Payza members worldwide with convenient and flexible loading and withdrawal options, such as localized bank transfers, global bank wires, credit/debit card, checks, prepaid cards, cryptocurrencies, among others.

The Sales Development Representative is a highly motivated individual with a great understanding of the e-commerce market. As part of the Business Development team, this role will actively seek our new business opportunities and develop innovative programs to introduce Payza’s products and services to online business owners. Serve as a focal point for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities      

Business Development

  • Maintain a high level of ongoing business development and pipeline activity, nurturing qualified leads into high-value opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Analyze account activity and international payment needs to offer a range of appropriate solutions to support clients
  • Monitor new product and market developments, continually developing an understanding of the ecommerce platform market and related competitive platforms and technologies
  • Conduct platform demonstrations and act as a resident expert with regards to Payza’s payment solution
  • Develop and present proposals for key decision makers’ approval
  • Analyze needs to customize our systems and/or offer appropriate solution

Client Relationship Management

  • Engage in a consultative sales process and offer a range of appropriate solutions to support client needs
  • Analyze account activity and international payment needs to better understand sales opportunities
  • Establish and maintain client relationships through close contact account management
  • Effectively manage expectations, while collaborating with support teams to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction

Sales Reporting

  • Manage the sales reporting process and provide ongoing updates to management
  • Report on needed platform improvements to meet client needs


Required Skills & Abilities

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, demonstrating the ability to articulate and translate complex technical concepts to potential and existing merchants
  • Energetic, self-motivated with an adaptable, ‘can-do’ attitude combined with the perseverance and patience to see sales through to completion
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-pace environment
  • Excellent research, negotiation, strategic and tactical capabilities to close sales
  • Strong passion and understanding of e-commerce and related industries


Experience & Education 

  • 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in an e-commerce solution‐sales/technology‐related environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field of study an asset
