PARC has an internship available in Visual Analytics for Health Insurance.

In this project, you will work with a team of researchers and subject matter experts with skills in machine learning, inference, visualization, work practice, healthcare information technology, and workflow to create algorithms, processes and software systems that analyze healthcare insurance data to visualize inefficiencies at different scales and help decision makers address problems.

Ideal candidates will have several skills from this list: experience with databases, machine learning, inference, visualization, social network or link analysis, geospatial reasoning, predictive analytics, statistics, and healthcare information technology.  The candidate should also have solid skills in software engineering, including experience with Java or related languages, and experience with current Web development technologies.
