Job Description

Technican or Glass Artist to make parts for stressed glass projects


B.S or A.A. with a background in mechanical engineering, physics, materials science, or equivalent with experience processing and characterizing device parts. We seek technicians to support projects in materials processing and manufacturing. You should be willing to work closely with a medium sized team and have a flexible schedule to accommodate tight deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good with repetitive tasks, specifically hand alignment of components.
  • Experience with evaluating and assembling components in a manufacturing environment.  
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must provide documentation of status as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or U.S. protected person under U.S.C. 1324b(a) (3).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with glass processing.
  • Familiarity with equipment like waterjets, CNC, and/or metrology.
  • Ability to operate and maintain equipment.

Work Hours

  • Salary 70k or based on experience
  • Flexible hours, but typically 9am - 5pm
  • Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work near deadlines
