Job Description

Develop software infrastructure and front end for next generation CAD system

 

About the Job

We are looking for a talented intern to work with PARC scientists to build the infrastructure for a cutting edge design and manufacturing software system for applications to 3d printing, medical imaging, and design optimization. The ideal candidate  either has or is working towards a masters' degree in software engineering or a related discipline. Responsibilities of the position will include

1. Developing Qt based graphics user interfaces similar to CAD systems

2. Developing Google tests, logging and benchmark code for computational back-ends

3. Develop web-based demos and basic user interface.

The intern will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of scientists with expertise in computer aided design, manufacturing, engineering analysis, and user experience design for such applications.
