Social Conversational Agents

Social Conversational Agents:

Conversation is one of the most natural forms of human communication. Humans converse in order to obtain information, resolve disputes, influence, get to know someone, connect to others, obtain or give emotional support. We’re seeking a talented researcher in the Interactive Intelligence Group to create novel approaches to social conversational agents. The researcher will envision novel applications of social conversational agents; develop new techniques for interactive narrative, conversation analysis, user modeling, and language generation; and model, implement and evaluate these techniques in the context of a live social mobile app.
