Security Ph.D. or post-doc in distributed access control and identity providers
About the Job
Ph.D. or post-doc student intern skilled in one or more of: security architecture, security assessment, security system design, identity providers, single sign-on architectures, configuration management, modern cryptography, cyber-physical system security, security policy enforcement, or system auditing.
The Cyber Physical Systems Security area is looking for an enthusiastic and talented intern with skills in security systems and technologies to work in a team developing a new security framework that will define and enforce systems security in networks of users, servers, and devices.
The candidate will design and implement proof-of-concept technologies that define security roles, requests, policies, and auditing rules for networks of users, services, and devices.
Familiarity or experience with one or more of the following topics is highly desirable:
* Networked printing
* Wired and wireless networking
* Certificate management
* IoT Security
* Cyber-physical system security
* Digital signatures
* Secure file transfer protocols
The candidate should have a Masters’ or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
