Internship in IoT and Mobile Devices
M.S. or Ph.D. student intern skilled in one or more of: IoT sensors and actuators, Bluetooth technologies (Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy), location services, and online payment systems.
About the Job
The candidate will design and implement proof-of-concept technologies that combine smart phones and networking with IoT devices, location services, or payment systems, using a secure architecture.
Familiarity / Experience with one or more of the following topics is highly desirable:
- IoT sensors and sensor platforms (such as Arduino or DIY)
- location services: iBeacon, Bluetooth Mesh, wireless sensors and indoor location technologies
- smart phone app development
- payment processing systems (app and server side), such as PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.
- wireless networking (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and/or NFC)
- IoT Security
The candidate should have a bachelor's or masters' degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
