Electronics Technical Support to Join the Printed Electronic Device Group with board lab skills

About the Job

The successful applicant will join a group doing novel materials and device research.  

Responsibilities

The position involves the design and assembly of innovative experimental test setups  and hands-on laboratory work for various experimental research projects.  An initial research focus is to support projects creating flexible electronic sensors and smarts objects using printing technology.


Requirements


BS or M.S. with background in physics, material science, electrical engineering, chemical engineering or equivalent. Expertise is requires in design of hardware with emphasis on electronics, and additionally in some or all of ink-jet printing systems, software programming, material characterization and machine shop work.  Breadth of expertise and interest in a broad range of research areas is most valued.
