Internship in the energy systems group
PARC is an applied R&D powerhouse with a world-class team of experts, a long-standing culture of innovation, and an extensive IP portfolio of materials, printing and computing technologies. The Energy Systems team at PARC is currently developing self-cooling films (passive radiative cooling) for building and cars; energy-efficient windows (thermal barriers); polymer-nanomaterial composites for energy storage and structural applications; and novel electrochemical cells. In addition, the team is constantly coming up with new innovations that form the foundation of upcoming high risk, high payoff projects.
Interns will have the opportunity to work with leading researchers on a broad range of technologies, and engage at different stages of projects pipeline. Interns never get bored and find it to be an extremely rewarding experience to work at PARC! And they get a firsthand experience of the Silicon Valley.
Work with the team to build real-world devices, with the freedom to approach, own, and solve problems creatively. Interns get to evaluate ideas, brainstorm collectively, build devices, fix things that are broken, invent new technology, and work on things that matter.

For this particular internship, we are looking for people with expertise in polymer or other materials, and meeting the following requirements:
- Undergrad/ Grad student in Physics, Materials Science or Chemistry
- Hands-on experience in design, fabrication and testing of engineered materials
- Available for a minimum of 12 weeks
