Job Description

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for a Project Manager / Estimator to quote and lead large commercial projects. The Project Manager / Estimator will work closely with clients to design, scope, and build projects using the latest technology from the best vendors. Though based in Vancouver, travel throughout the Lower Mainland will be required.


  • Prepare estimates of material, labour, and equipment costs for projects, as well as bids, quotations, drawings, and specifications
  • Develop and manage schedules, resource plans, procurement, commissions, and risk mitigations
  • Complete and communicate accurate and detailed documentation, including drawings, testing, schedule, and budget
  • Oversee projects to ensure the highest quality is delivered to our clients
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports of the project’s progress and financials to key stakeholders
  • Conduct monthly project billing, reconciliation of projects and ongoing invoicing
  • Manage the project team and technical staff to ensure the project is within scope, budget and schedule, and ensure milestones are met
  • Provide direction, leadership, and support to all project team members
  • Proactively assess risks and develop plans to align with safety regulations; ensure a safe and healthy work environment, and participate in safety committee meetings
  • Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns
  • Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a pool of resources; manage a selection of subcontracts for projects, where required


  • 2+ years’ experience with commercial projects within the local Vancouver electrical industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Sedona, and project software
  • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract
  • Trades Qualified
