We are looking for a team-oriented individual to join our team as an Audio Visual Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience completing technical installation of audio visual systems, including equipment rack fabrication, site preparation, termination and calibration of audio and video equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install and service cabling infrastructure and devices for Data and Audio Visual; includes pre-wiring, installation, termination, testing, reporting, and labelling per specifications / drawings
  • Ensure that safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
  • Complete detailed and accurate paperwork
  • Interact with customers and prospects, ensuring all inquiries are handled professionally
  • Perform other tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education in electrical, telecommunications, or electronics would be an asset
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex audio, video, switching and control system problems
  • Experience, certifications, and technical knowledge of data and audio visual (i.e. Crestron, AMX, Extron, Jupiter, Christie, Polycom, ClearOne, Biamp, BSS, Clearone, Kramer etc.)
  • Knowledge of DHCP, Static Addressing, Switches, Hubs, WAPS, and Signal Flow
  • Soldering experience
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of environments; construction sites to finished corporate offices
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean abstract
  • Bondable and able to pass criminal record check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail and excellent organization
