We are currently searching for multiple Call Centre Agent - Alarm Monitoring for all shifts within our Operations Team. The shifts are 12 hours in length, distributed in a 4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off format. You will operate out of our Burnaby Operations Centre which provides alarm response services for a varied portfolio of clients across the country.
You will be responsible for monitoring, receiving and responding to multiple types of alarms and situations across varying geographical regions. One of the best parts of this jobs is the flexibility to work when your life allows it and the variety of situations you are going to deal with on a daily (or nightly) basis. During a shift, you may be contacting clients during a power outage or watching the live feed of an incident in progress and informing first responders, whether that be Police, Fire, or EMS, of the situation as it happens.
The operator should be able to exercise mental flexibility and situational awareness within a small team-based environment. They should have the ability to communicate concisely and accurately with clients over the phone and be able to use Microsoft based applications.
We offer a starting salary based on experience including an extensive medical and dental program after 3 months of employment.
