Medical Report Review / Quality Assurance Analyst

The Medical Report Review / Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the processing, review and completion of medical evaluation reports for our clients, including insurance carriers, healthcare providers, and law firms.  This position requires a well-organized and responsible person to complete a finished product that is of the utmost integrity and quality, paying special attention to contractual obligations, regulatory standards/requirements from State, County and Federal codes.  The QA Analysts works closely with the rest of the Pac Eval team and must effectively develop relationships and manage the physicians in our network.

  • Perform quality assurance reviews on all outgoing reports.  This includes a) ensuring content and format adheres to our strict policies, b) ensuring medical terminology is clear, concise and evidence-based, and c) adhering to proper grammar and sentence structure 
  • Manage inflow of report dictations from physicians for medical reports; make sure all documents and records are stored in the appropriate location and/or sent to the appropriate parties
  • Document and track workflow in our internal system from dictation receipts, physician inquiries, and report completion
  • Work closely with multiple parties, including transcriptionists, physicians, and clients
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of each completed deliverable, including adhering to client instructions, client/examinee/constituent data is correct, and all regulatory standards/requirements are met
  • Maintain report templates for report type and physician preferences, updating when necessary
  • Support other departments and office activities when needed


  • Knowledge of medical terminology (anatomy, procedures, medications) preferred
  • Experience working in a medical office
  • Highly-organized and motivated, ability to juggle multiple assignments
  • Prioritization and efficient time management
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality; reliable and energetic
  • Ability to adapt to change and unexpected events
  • Technology saavy, including general computer software and applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent language and communication skills, verbal and written, particularly grammar, punctuation and prose style
