Position: ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician

Reports To: Lead ABA Therapist, Clinical Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Provide 1:1 and/or group behaviorally based treatment to children diagnosed with autism and/or other developmental delays in-home and/or school/community settings based on individualized programming
  • Parent training as prescribed in the individualized program on an as-needed basis

Implement structured and individualized programs developed by supervisors to address challenging behaviors with corrective and acceptable behaviors to include the areas of:

  • Language, social, academic literacy, fine and gross motor skills, executive functioning, self-management, self-help, and age-appropriate play by expanding communities of reinforcement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, data and input data daily on all designated programs
  • Receive and attend ongoing training opportunities in the field of ABA
  • Can receive BCBA supervisory hours towards BCBA/BCaBA degree upon request/approval
  • Complete clinical and administrative tasks as designated by a supervisor
  • Communicate effectively with all clients and staff



  • Bachelor's Degree or currently working towards a degree
  • Experience/training in applied behavior analysis and autism spectrum disorders
  • Experience working with typically developing children
  • Must be energetic and love working independently, with a team and with individuals with developmental disabilities with autism and/or other developmental disabilities
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use a variety of computer based programs including Microsoft Office
  • Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
  • Must be highly motivated and self-directed



  • Available to work between the hours of 9 AM to 6:30 PM, opening slots may vary within these hours
  • Must be available for a minimum of 2 evenings (until 6:30 PM) per week
  • Must be willing to work weekend hours for makeup sessions as needed
  • Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel around the specified geographic area
  • Must be willing and able to sit on the floor with children and physically be able to lift children up if necessary (up to 80 pounds)
