Site Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a driven and passionate Site Reliability Engineer to help us in our efforts of operating a highly complex ecosystem of Cybersecurity services. The chosen candidate will join Cloud Operations, a team distributed on three continents.

What You Will Be Doing

• Helping shape internal CloudOps processes and practices, with a keen focus on best practices and compliance
• Working together with Product teams in the design and operation of complex Cloud ecosystems
• Developing deployment pipelines, deploying applications and systems to the Cloud
• Acting based on alerts, following established incident management procedures whenever operational events occur (during business hours) and performing Root Cause Analysis
• Migrating on-premises systems to Public Cloud and expanding current systems to multi-Cloud setups, whenever dictated so by business imperatives
• Automating all operations and minimizing manual intervention
• Treating everything in terms of Service Level Indicators and Objectives, taking data-driven decisions

What We Need From You

• Experience in deploying and operating applications on AWS
• Docker containers proficiency
• Some experience with Serverless technologies
• Proficient in monitoring Cloud systems
• Experience with configuration management
• Experience with databases in the Cloud (setup, backup / restore)
• Proficient with Terraform / Ansible / CloudFormation
• Basic knowledge of Bash / Python / PowerShell
• Experience with Access Management in the Cloud
• Knowledge of encryption techniques for data at rest and in transit
• Knowledge in setting up firewalls and ACL
• Experience in setting up application firewalls and DOS protection
• Knowledge of origin policies
• Knowledge of authentication protocols
• 'Measure everything' mindset
• Focused on best practices and compliance
• Self-driven, eager to act - evaluate - adjust
• Focused on continuous improvement of self

It Would Be Nice If You Had

• Cloud Certification
• Experience with GCP / Azure / IBM Cloud
• Experience with TeamCity, Jenkins or other CI/CD systems
• Kubernetes orchestration experience
