Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

The Position

We are looking for a motivated Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving go-to-market activities, competitive intelligence, messaging, and positioning of OPSWAT products.
As Product Marketing Manager, you will work closely with Product Management, R&D, Marketing, and Sales department to develop and implement the most effective plans to position and promote our products. You will play the role of the glue that binds our product strategy to the tactics to drive success in sales and marketing and to achieve results.
You are also the ‘market researcher’ within our company, precisely examining customer needs and experiences.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Translate technical details into benefits for the customers
  • Build product messaging that sets OPSWAT products apart from others in the market to give them a unique selling point
  • Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of OPSWAT products
  • User-test marketing product features, releases, and ad copy
  • Brief PR teams about new products
  • Take part in demos, presentations
  • Research competitor offerings, follow and analyze market trends to position OPSWAT products
  • Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launches) and work with various teams to implement the strategies
  • Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
  • Obtain insights into customers’ usage of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas, through interviews, surveys, focus groups, and sales data
  • Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products which involve several different departments
  • Evaluate products using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers
  • Develop and implement promotional activities such as promotions and product launches
  • Assist sales on calls, when appropriate, to provide deeper dives into the product

  • Previous working experience as a Product Marketing Manager
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills

  • Experience in market analysis
  • Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
  • BSc/BA in IT, Marketing, Communications or similar field


It Would Be Nice If You Had

  • Work experience in software and/ or cybersecurity product Company
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle and software UX/ design
  • ‪Strong ability to multi-task with a results-oriented mindset
  • Strong passion for excellence and a high level of initiative
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence
