The Position

 

OPSWAT is looking for a new Creative Director. The Creative Director guides all design projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the engineering and marketing department. You will be responsible for helping to create everything from the small granular level graphics to help to create the overall “big idea” concepts.

You will be reporting to VP of Product Marketing and work closely with the CEO , VP of Marketing , & VP of engineering

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage the creative process from concept to completion of product and marketing
  • Manage 3 direct UX team members
  • Translate marketing objectives into clear creative strategies
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, particularly engineering, and sales
  • Lead and direct the creative team in the production of all marketing collateral
  • Ensure visual communication and brand standards are met
  • Conduct usability surveys and interviews
  • Oversee deliverables, timelines, and budgets
  • Meet with upper management to explain campaign strategies and solutions
  • Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative teams
  • Remain actively involved in hiring and training creative staff
  • Run AB testing of products and marketing assets
  • Manage and cultivate the career development of any creative staff members

 

What We Need From You

 

  • Self-motivated and capable of making the right decision to move the team forward on a daily basis
  • Effective organizational skills to maintain a consistently high standard
  • Experience in controlling creative budgets and capable of purchasing or utilizing efficient and cost effective agencies or talent
  • Amazing communication skills
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and “get dirty” whenever required (Hands on is required)
  • 7+ years experience in a management role
  • Experience driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery
  • Ability to juggle various projects
  • A keen eye for our aesthetic and tone
