Associate Technical Administrator

Job Description

The Position:

OPSWAT is looking for an Associate Technical Administrator to assist with the Supply Chain’s mission, including recommending technology for purchasing, system building, system imaging, shipping, and RMA operations of our company.

A great asset for this position is their communication and ability to follow directions without the need for constant supervision in completing hardware cases and their ability to understand technology products and specifications. They are also well-versed in desktop support, technology as a whole, and cybersecurity principles and practices. In addition, the ideal candidate will understand basic inventory application usage and have a customer-oriented approach.

The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of various channels aiming for maximum efficiency with a KPI goal of PO to shipment of 24 hours.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

This position seeks 75% Technology and Systems Knowledge, 15% Logistics, and 10% Relationship building.

  • Learning the technical aspects of our logistics hardware and systems pertaining to OPSWAT’s product line, including defining specifications and system building.
  • Manufacturing of systems and imaging of our software products.
  • Fulfilling orders as direct by the Supply Chain Administrator
  • Assisting with coordinating local, domestic, and international deliveries to meet deadlines after a training period.
  • Identifies inventory discrepancies and manages reconciliation and resolution efforts.

What We Need From You:

  • 1-2+ years’ work experience within desktop support or similar position.
  • Ability to clone/image systems using WIM via DISM or other software.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows 10 IOT and Ubuntu.
  • Hardware Knowledge a plus.
  • Identifies and resolves problems promptly.
  • Ability to multitask in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who owns deadlines and strives for efficiency.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

It Would Be Nice If You Had:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
