Responsibilities:

  • Support Air Force customer with Acquisition Support activities.  These activities include:

    • Ideal candidate shall accomplish a full range of acquisition program management tasks in support of the client including, but not limited to procurement, financial management and planning, systems engineering, contracting, and logistics for existing and future programs across the acquisition lifecycle.

    • Candidate shall assist with the development and maintenance of all manner of program documentation. Candidate shall support the review of quotes and, as assigned by the customer, shall serve in a non-voting advisory role for program source selections. Candidate shall support coordination of documentation between functional organizations inside and outside organizations. Acquisition support personnel shall support program milestone planning and preparation. Acquisition support personnel shall support lifecycle acquisition risk management and process improvement. 

      Acquisition support personnel shall support evaluation and communication of program progress in writing, in briefings, and in discussions higher management. Acquisition support personnel shall assist in developing and managing strategic scheduling and planning documentation such as an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

    • Acquisition support personnel shall assist in developing and analyzing IMSs on ACAT I and/or ACAT II acquisition programs using Microsoft Project or other DoD-relevant scheduling tools to include: employing network software tools and capabilities to assess and report schedule performance; conduct probabilistic and deterministic Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) on IMSs; integrating elements of Candidate and government schedules to account for government dependencies.  Acquisition support personnel shall assist in supporting development and coordination of DoD 5000.02 acquisition and logistics milestone planning and reporting documentation. Candidate personnel shall assist in drafting documentation, presentation materials, and preparing staff summary packages to support acquisition milestone coordination and decisions. Acquisition support shall work in direct support to senior leaders supporting workflow management processes facilitating program and administration coordination; provide advice and status on all matters related to program administrative controls and activities.

       

Requirements:

  • College degree with Acquisition Support experience and current clearance
