About This Role

We are seeking a Senior Digital Communications and Events Associate who will be responsible for driving performance and execution across all digital media and marketing events for OmniAb, including working effectively with cross-functional partners and key stakeholders in Business Development, Science, Finance, Legal, People, Executive Team. The position requires an individual who can work well in a deadline-driven and collaborative team environment and is confident in their ability to provide thoughtful and strategic communication counsel to all levels in the organization.

This position reports to the VP, Business Development and Strategy.

This is a part-time temporary position (5-6 months) intended to start early December. This is a remote position based within the United States and will require minimal travel. The working hours for this position are generally within 8am-5pm PT (between 20-25 hours per week).


What You’ll Do

  • Oversee OmniAb’s corporate website and technology website (Icagen.com), collaborating with content owners and external hosting vendors to manage content.
  • Execute digital strategies that add to OmniAb’s social media followership and continue to enhance its corporate reputation (LinkedIn, X).
  • Ensure consistent messaging, tone, and visual cohesiveness across OmniAb’s digital and social content, PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Maintain and develop social media metrics, analytics and reporting with clearly defined performance metrics.
  • Maintain the Corporate Style Guide branding including specifications on presentations, image, logos, product branding, trademark usage, etc.
  • Create and manage a calendar of social media activity.
  • Oversee event marketing and management, including digital webinars and in-person events.
  • Coordinate and execute conference and trade show exhibit and sponsorship management.
  • Manage conference registrations and on-site support ofparticipant activities.
  • Back-up to investor relations related digital and electronic actions.
  • Other duties as required.


What You Bring

  • BS/BA with 8+ years of experience in corporate/digital communications, including an in-house role at a pharma or biotech company or healthcare agency experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of running organic and paid content via social media platforms (LinkedIn, X).
  • Experience with PowerPoint slide deck preparation from entry-executive-level, focusing on scientific content and branding.
  • Experience in live event coordination, management and marketing (e.g. webinars).
  • Experience in trade show/conference management (coordination, logistics and preparation of exhibits and presentations).
  • Experience in marketing automation (e.g. landing pages, emails, RSVPs, surveys), ideally with Hubspot.
  • Experience with digital channels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors.
  • Expert judgment in critical decision-making on issues impacting corporate reputation is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders.
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills with an ability to execute multiple activities and meet deadlines.
  • General working knowledge of SEC and FDA regulations as applied to the communications of company information and events/statements related to investigational and marketed drugs, with familiarity with electronic communications compliance requirements is preferred.


The base compensation range for this position is $50 - $70 per hour. The range provided is an estimate. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, location, and other factors permitted by law.
