Responsibilities
Following is a brief outline of duties and responsibilities:
Developing and managing fundraising campaigns as a consultant or for a nonprofit organization.
Developing donor
Meeting and stewarding relationship with donors.
Ability to work with and/or supervise a high-performing team.
- Secure financial support from individuals, foundations and corporations
- Manage the implementation of a donor software and oversee staff responsible for data entry and gift processing
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors
- Executing a strategy for a large sustained base of annual individual donors
- Overseeing organization of in-person and virtual events
- Writing and tracking grant proposals and reports
Requirements
BS/MS degree in nonprofit management or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience, with progressive responsibilities with nonprofit
Experience with promotion and destination marketing a plus
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
Also Required:
Agency (marketing, digital, advertising or public relations) experience required
- Familiarity with local history, culture and marketplace preferred
Keen attention to detail and excellent writing and math and problem solving skills
Project management experience and an ongoing love of learning highly desirable
Both leadership and team player qualities are essential
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Looking or someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a can-do mindset
