The Digital Marketer reports to the VP of Marketing and works in a team including Communication, Creative and Finance departments. Following is a brief outline of duties and responsibilities:
Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns.
Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.
Devising strategies to drive online traffic to websites utilizing a range of techniques including programmatic digital advertising, paid search and SEO.
Tracking conversion rates and optimizing conversion funnels.
Managing the redesign of a company’s website.
Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of websites.
Managing and optimizing CRM automation platforms (ex. Hubspot, Salesforce, etc).
Overseeing social media strategy for clients.
Planning, management and budgetary control of digital marketing.
Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.
Reviewing new technologies and stay at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing or advertising position
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
Familiarity with local history, culture and marketplace preferred
Keen attention to detail and excellent writing and math and problem solving skills
Project management experience and an ongoing love of learning highly desirable
Both leadership and team player qualities are essential
Strong interpersonal communication skills
