We are currently hiring for a Client Success Manager to join our team.

Position Overview

The Client Success Manager (CSM) is a key point of contact for our clients and a cross-functional leader within the agency. While similar to a Project Manager, this role places greater emphasis on proactive client engagement, relationship-building, and business insight to ensure client goals are met—and exceeded.

The CSM is responsible for aligning internal resources, managing deliverables, and translating client needs into actionable plans that our creative and technical teams can execute. Strong cultural fluency—including an understanding of Hawaiian history, values, and local community dynamics—is essential to serve our clients with depth, respect, and authenticity.

Core Responsibilities

Client Management

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned clients and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Lead strategic conversations to understand client goals, identify opportunities, and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships grounded in trust, cultural respect, and shared purpose.
  • Anticipate client needs, address concerns early, and deliver results with consistency and professionalism.

Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Events, Digital, Creative, PR, Strategy) to ensure deliverables meet expectations.
  • Develop and maintain timelines, track progress, and adjust plans when necessary.
  • Prepare briefs and clear instructions to ensure alignment and accountability across teams.

Agency Collaboration

  • Manage communication flow between departments and external partners.
  • Support efficient workstream management, including team updates, deadline tracking, and budget awareness.
  • Actively contribute to improving internal systems and processes for smoother operations.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience, ideally in an agency setting.
  • Previous client-facing experience is strongly preferred.

Skills & Attributes

  • Deep appreciation for and knowledge of Hawaiian culture, history, and values.
  • Familiarity with Hawai‘i’s diverse communities and local issues.
  • Excellent relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong administrative and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with confidence and clarity.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, advertising, PR, event management, and brand communications.
  • Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Asana, etc.
  • Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical abilities.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in key sectors like land management, education, construction, hospitality, healthcare, or finance.
  • Fluency in Hawaiian
