The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support the firm’s leadership with accurate, timely reporting. This role requires a detail-oriented, motivated, and enthusiastic professional with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates a proactive and collaborative approach, and can manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including payables, receivables, bank deposits, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Work with our PEO to process semi-monthly payroll, and oversee staff onboarding and offboarding workflows.
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing and maintaining proper documentation.
- Maintain and recommend accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Reconcile discrepancies by collecting, analyzing, and resolving account information.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements.
- Support the Paid Media with data entry and reporting.
- Oversee office administration functions such as vendor relations, supplies, and building management coordination.
- Contribute to team success by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (required).
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Prior experience in an agency, professional services, or project-based accounting environment preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Workamajig, Quickbooks or similar platforms strongly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must pass a written accounting test.
- Background check required.

Position is full time and hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday. Applications will be accepted until position is filled.
