Supply Chain Analyst

Operations | Portland, OR | Full Time

Job Description

This position focuses on the OIA SCM Global procurement business unit to provide program management support and work and coordinate with order management, purchasing, production, management, sales, finance, accounting and IT departments, both domestically and in Asia Pacific. The core department deliverable is to bring product from final design to the marketplace to ensure mass production and distribution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process and coordinate new product implementation with various relevant parties
  • Manage product, pricing, and related terms
  • Proactively create reports and metrics to manage and measure supplier performance and customer service
  • Develop program analysis to support internal improvements and new customer requirements
  • Develop electronic business forms/templates
  • Assist in managing various projects related to internal improvements or changes in program requirements
  • Inventory management audit (cycle count and manage physical reconciliation)
  • Engage in communication with domestic and overseas product suppliers for pricing and terms agreement

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in operations management, international trading, logistics, or supply chain management
  • Microsoft Excel experience, including data formatting and pivot tables
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry paperwork, financial reports, and legal documents/contracts
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and OIA management
  • Ability to prioritize workload, multitask, and problem-solve
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau a big plus
