SEO | US - Remote OK | Full Time

Job Description

Who We Are

Obility helps fast-growing and innovative B2B tech companies generate and develop marketing led-opportunities through digital marketing. Companies like Moz, Plangrid, Snowflake, and Hitachi use us to successfully reach, engage, track, and convert sales qualified leads.

Founded in 2011, we’re now a team of 40+ team members who are solely focused on B2B marketing and lead generation. We serve our clients by hiring expert talent, streamlining account management, and holding ourselves accountable to performance. We are headquartered in Portland, OR, have offices in Boston, and have recently expanded into Austin Texas!

Currently, we track to revenue, we optimize pages for lead conversion, and we help clear the path to accurate pipeline measurement. Our aim is to optimize digital channels for revenue outcomes.

What We Care About

We are transparent. Our books are open, and we share the reasoning behind our decisions. We claim autonomy and take the personal freedom to work how we want, where we want. We’re accountable to one another, working together toward shared objectives. We push innovation - trying new tactics and channels to go beyond “best practices.” We are proactive about breaking client’s bottlenecks to deliver results. We hire the best humans, regardless of experience and background. We are committed to the development of our team members, investing in development paths and action plans that help them grow in their current roles and beyond. We know that we’re only as good as our culture!

What We're Looking For

You, the SEO Manager, are a data-obsessed problem-solver. You pay attention to the details without losing sight of clients’ bigger and long-term goals. You’re quick to pick up patterns and patient enough to identify long-term trends. You are creative, logical, and endlessly curious about the future of SEO.

Do you have more than 1 year crafting SEO strategies? Do you have strong presentation and communication skills? Are you ready to add to a company culture that values innovation, autonomy, and its people?

Requirements

  • Ability to understand, explain, and direct SEO strategies for clients

  • Understanding of and experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

  • Deliver onsite technical analysis

  • Bonus: Understanding of content management systems, particularly WordPress

  • Bonus: Knowledge of marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua) and/or CRM systems (Salesforce, MS Dynamics)

Responsibilities

  • Creating and presenting client SEO strategies, including keyword research, on-site technical and content recommendations, and off-site analysis.

  • Driving client SEO strategies by managing their SEO roadmap and identifying proactive initiatives.

  • Working with client contacts and web and content teams, guiding them to ensure they execute your action items

  • Working with Obility Customer Service Managers and the Obility Paid Search and Social teams to ensure SEO is integrated into the client's overall marketing programs.

  • Developing and reviewing monthly and ad-hoc client reporting that illustrates performance and progress made, with next steps and appropriate action plans based on that analysis.

  • Manage daily execution of 6-7 SEO clients, including day-to-day client communication, deliverables, monthly reports and all research and strategy efforts pertaining to B2B client engagements

Benefits: Competitive salary, 25 paid days off in your first year, unlimited work-from-home policy, employer-paid health and life insurance benefits for employees, 3% employer match retirement plan, 6-weeks paid family/parental leave, 3-week paid sabbatical after 7 years, and fun and inclusive company culture that supports employee development!
