What We’re Looking For

Dunthorpe Marketing is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager with a focus in Pardot, Salesforce and related tools. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of marketing operations experience, preferably for a B2B tech company or digital marketing agency.  The Marketing Automation Manager position is an integral role in evaluating, implementing, and managing the marketing technology systems to do their jobs effectively and provide the best quality of our work product, determining and documenting solutions to meet the needs of the clients we serve.

This role will require an innovative person who is inherently good at leveraging the data that technology creates. Someone technically savvy and a strategic thinker who is skilled at aligning teams.  Building strong collaboration with the team to make sure the marketing automation data is being properly collected and connected with upstream and downstream systems.  This includes making sure the team has the tools and training needed to provide the highest standard of usage of the data and technology.

Ideally, your skills and experience are:

  • 3+ years marketing automation experience in Pardot, preferably

  • Experience leading B2B and SaaS clients a plus

  • An understanding of multi channel lead nurturing best practices 

  • Expert knowledge of database management concepts and best practices 

  • A holistic understanding of account based marketing

  • An understanding of typical B2B marketing engagements and lead lifecycle tracking and planning a plus

  • Demonstrated ability in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems 

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, manage, track and report on nurture campaigns

  • Generate reporting and leverage data to draw insights and optimization of campaigns

  • Campaign operations – Design, build and execute the buyer journey; segmentation, lead scoring/lead life cycle; asset utilization; customer journey mapping

  • Collaborate and execute on engagement roadmaps acting as lead in marketing technology in client engagements

  • Gather and translate business requirements into operational solutions that increase efficiency, scalability and accountability for our clients’ 

  • Recommend and guide strategic technology selection, integration and optimization for Dunthorpe clients.

  • Alignment with revenue operations, sales and other teams with focus on measurement and accountability; maintaining communication workflows; scheduling

  • Manage contractors, through requirements documentation, QA testing, and one to one meetings as well as deadline management
