Marketing Manager

Job Description

Obility is looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our fast growing team of B2B marketing experts. This individual will work on a variety of Obility’s enterprise clients, serving as the primary point of contact for Obility and growing client relationships. The Account Manager will report directly to the Director of Customer Success.

This individual is an online marketing and B2B marketing expert and will consult with Obility’s clients on online marketing strategy as well as work directly with internal subject-matter experts to lead clients’ online marketing campaigns. This individual has great team-building skills and will have the opportunity to grow into a Sr. Account Manager role with good performance and demonstrated leadership capability.

Key Results Areas:

  • Proactively consult clients on B2B marketing strategy and online marketing strategy
  • 75% client retention trailing 12 months
  • Client satisfaction survey results for your clients
  • Positive 360 review feedback from team members
  • Hit service expansion targets identified by department each quarter
  • Drive client marketing programs with the help of subject matter experts (PPC and SEO Managers)
  • Manage client work internally to ensure it gets completed on time
  • Maintain deliverable quality for clients, ensuring it’s free of errors and on strategy
  • Professional development, including daily reading or online and B2B marketing industries

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain close relationships with clients
  • Communication lead for all day-to-day interactions with clients
  • Represent your clients interests internally with a clear understanding of your clients business objectives
  • Schedule and organize client account calls, meetings, and presentations
  • Analyze and measure results from Obility’s digital marketing efforts and articulate value and return on investment to the client
  • Make recommendations on client KPI’s based on historical data, business trends, and industry trends
  • Identify and present opportunities for growth in client relationships
  • Engage and present to c-level executives to articulate our value proposition
  • Occasional travel involved

Required Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge of and experience with digital marketing
  • Strong presentation and written communication skills
  • An interest in B2B marketing 
  • Confidence and a persuasive manner
  • Tight organizational and time management skills 
  • A track record for building solid client relationships
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving
  • Sense of urgency in all activities related to the clients’ needs

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Past agency experience
  • Understanding of and experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua) and/or CRM systems (Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
  • B2B marketing experience
  • Understanding of and experience with Google Analytics or other web tracking platforms
  • Excel skills, ability to work with Excel reports
