What We’re Looking For
Dunthorpe Marketing is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager with 4+ years of marketing operations experience, preferably for a B2B tech company or digital marketing agency. The Marketing Automation Manager position is an integral role in evaluating, implementing, and managing the marketing technology systems to do their jobs effectively and provide the best quality of our work product, determining and documenting solutions to meet the needs of the clients we serve.
This role will require an innovative person who is inherently good at leveraging the data that technology creates. Someone technically savvy and a strategic thinker who is skilled at aligning teams. Building strong collaboration with the team to make sure the marketing automation data is being properly collected and connected with upstream and downstream systems. This includes making sure the team has the tools and training needed to provide the highest standard of usage of the data and technology.
Dunthorpe Marketing is looking for a Marketing Automation leader & power user who is able to drive end-to-end automation support to help Dunthorpe’s clients nurture leads and drive revenue. In this role, you will elevate the use of key technology and automation tools (including Pardot, Marketo, Bizable, Salesforce.com) to deliver exceptional customer solutions. As the subject matter expert for marketing automation, you will recommend and implement solutions in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
Email Campaign & Deployment
Strategize, build, test/QA and launch email marketing campaigns including account based marketing engagement, nurture flows, ad-hoc campaigns, and operational communications
In conjunction with client cross-functional teams recommend and determine goals, KPIs, audience segments, cadence, and creative for each campaign
Make recommendations based on business requirements and desired goals with goals to optimize the delivery and cadence of communications
Work with client teams to Identify opportunities to run A/B testing variations to drive improved results, as well as, sharing these learnings to inform future strategy & direction
Data & Reporting
Recommend and develop effective database segmentation that results in delivering the right message to the right person at the right time
Advise clients and optimize email subscription status in compliance with all necessary email regulations including CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and CCPA
Analyze and compile results and data to identify possible areas for improvement
Assess and remediate data integrity & hygiene: cleanliness, completeness, duplicates
Regular reporting on KPIs and campaign performance back to business and marketing team
Templates, Programs, and Workflows
Develop, configure and update landing page & email templates
Web Form configuration, usage, and ongoing optimization
Review email template usage and layouts for driving desired conversion results
Create, review, and optimize email marketing programs including: lead scoring, nurture campaigns, lead and data workflows
Account Based Marketing
Serve as subject matter expert on marketing automation.
Manage client tech stack to enable account based marketing campaigns. Recommend, document and implement optimizations and configurations.
Develop ABM engagement programs and operationalize into Marketing Automation Platforms and other tools in our clients’ tech stacks.
Audit Content availability for engagement and nurture programs. Recommend and Prioritize content creation to match client buyer journey.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience working in marketing automation platforms - preferably Marketo
Marketo Certification - preferred
Experience with other key tools including 6sense and Salesforce.com - preferred
Previous experience managing and leading a team
Thrive working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and multi-task across campaigns & complex projects
Effective in communications skills
Attention to detail
Big picture thinker who does not hesitate to dive into details with strong quantitative skills and ability to translate data into insights and measurable results
