What We’re Looking For
Dunthorpe Marketing is seeking an Account Manager with 3+ years of client services experience, preferably for a B2B tech company or digital marketing agency. The Account Manager position is an integral role in developing client strategy, communicating objectives and tasks across internal and external teams, and managing a technically-savvy team to meet client’s goals. This position plays an integral part in the quality of our work product, determining and documenting solutions to meet the needs of the clients we serve.
This person will provide high-quality support to our technology and client project teams for our agency as a whole. This position requires an organized professional who has initiative, a positive team attitude, and prides themselves on being detail-oriented. This position reports directly to the Account Director.
In this position you will handle all levels of client engagement, including managing projects to completion and maintaining detailed project management organization including time tracking, monitoring budgets, and focusing on short and long term KPIs and goals.
Ideally, your skills and experience are:
3-5 years of experience working in an agency setting or in a collaboration-heavy project management and client-facing role
Experience leading B2B and SaaS clients a plus
Experience with marketing automation and/or CRM systems a plus
A holistic understanding of account based marketing and/or revenue operations a plus
An understanding of typical B2B marketing engagements and lead lifecycle tracking and planning a plus
Demonstrated ability as a strong analytical thinker and problem solver
Proven ability to translate and articulate marketing strategies and results for a range of levels of experience and expertise
Demonstrated ability to interact and cooperate with all levels of the organization
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated and goal-oriented with excellent time management
Dependable with an excellent attendance track record
Positive upbeat attitude and a great team player
Represent your client’s interests internally with a clear understanding of their business objectives
Direct client strategy and deliverables for your clients internally, collaborating and communicating closely with subject matter experts, to ensure they always align with stated goals and milestones
Collaborate and execute on engagement roadmaps acting as lead in client engagements
Be comfortable with meeting facilitation and presentations
Project management for marketing operations; budgets and budget tracking; marketing plan guidance
Alignment with revenue operations, sales and other teams with focus on measurement and accountability; maintaining communication workflows; scheduling; identifying opportunities for growth in client relationships
Work with Operations team to manage contractors, review documentation requirements, and schedule working sessions and internal meetings to help problem solve and communicate status and updates to client
Define and scope projects to fulfill client objectives including level of effort and timelines
Create detailed plans that include individual tasks required to complete each project
Work with Account Director to lead, find, and/or facilitate training of internal team and department to develop skills, encourage growth, and enhance the overall skills of the team and individual members
Occasional travel involved for client meetings and conferences
