What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Market Access Analytics. The ideal candidate will lead all market access analytics in the U.S. This role will collaborate closely with the Director of Insights & Analytics, COSI (Commercial Operation & Strategic Insights) team members, Market Access team, as well as other cross-functional leaders (Marketing, Medical Affair, etc.) to conduct analytics project that provide valuable access insights for ongoing market assessment and new product launches.

You will be responsible for…

  • Lead the development and execution of Market Access analytics, ensuring high performance and delivering best-in-class access insights across the organization
  • Partner with the Market Access team to develop rebate forecasts, Gross-to-Net (GTN) forecasts, collaborate with finance and other analytical team members to support both annual and long-range forecasting cycles
  • Assist in shaping pre-launch GTN strategies, pricing, contracting, and distribution assumptions for late-stage assets, ensuring alignment with broader market access objectives
  • Work cross-functionally to develop optimal WAC price, net price, and rebate negotiation targets for new product pipeline
  • Guide the development of insightful analytics projects to inform strategic planning, focusing on buying processes, treatment flow, patient access, and account opportunity
  • Lead analytics efforts to create pre-deal payer scenarios, conduct post-deal valuations, and define post-deal KPIs. Identify appropriate data sources and oversee tracking and reporting to stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level insight requests related to U.S. Market Access and key PBM/GPO accounts
  • Synthesize and analyze data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations to the Market Access team and senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate new secondary data sources and analytics methodologies to enhance the impact of business intelligence and analytics
  • Collaborate with commercial Analytics, Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence, and Omnichannel & Advanced Analytics teams to maintain a unified "single-source of truth" on market and customer insights, ensuring alignment and consistency across functions

What Knowledge & Experience you'll bring to us...

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS); advanced degree preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial functions within the biopharmaceutical industry with 5+ years in market access analytics, pharmaceutical industry economics, forecasting or related fields
  • Experience in oncology and product launches is preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of PBM, pharmacy drug channel negotiations, Medicare, Medicaid, private insurer reimbursement methodology and healthcare benefits (deductible, out of pocket, benefit exclusions, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills to effectively identify business issues and develop actionable research plans with clear recommendations
  • Familiarity with leading Market Access data sources in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Openness to unconventional approaches and willingness to embrace new responsibilities
  • Demonstrates a readiness to execute tasks efficiently, embrace new challenges, and undertake a wide variety of roles beyond predefined functions
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, taking accountability and making informed decisions as a self-starter
  • Highly skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with key stakeholders in commercial and medical organizations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey insights and action plans succinctly
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location among other factors. Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
