Social Media Manager

Overview:

Notley is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager to manage the company’s social media channels. The successful candidate will be a strategic, team player, who is organized and creative with a track record of developing and executing a successful, and evolving social media strategy.

About the Position:

You will be responsible for Notley’s growing social footprint. Your first task will be to develop an in depth social media strategy that lays out the goals and guidelines for each of our brands and their related channels.  This includes tone, style, look and feel, and measurement framework. You will actively collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to ensure our content is distributed to the right audiences and foster our growing social community. You will own implementation and execution of all social content and help refine our approach to both organic and paid social.  You will proactively be aware of key events in our community that our various audiences would find valuable and promote the activities of individuals and companies that are part of the Notley ecosystem. You will collaborate with the business development team to maximize our opportunities to foster lead generation.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of paid and organic social marketing programs and related organizational efforts.

  • Development and iteration on our social marketing strategy and related measurement framework.

  • Work cross functionally with the marketing team members to ensure successful execution of our broader marketing efforts.

  • Foster community across our social channels through ongoing moderation and engagement.

  • Proactively track and promote events and activities within the social impact ecosystem.

  • Partner with the design team to deliver impactful content across the appropriate social channels.

  • Be the subject matter expert on all things social marketing for Notley

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 1-3+ years professional marketing experience including social media management and strategy experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Success in driving quantifiable business results in a highly dynamic and complex environment

  • Strong project management skills and an ability to develop and deliver programs with a high velocity, constantly evolving environment

  • Strong people and communication skills - need to be able to work with people at all levels and manage a wide variety of stakeholders

  • Ability to think, plan, and execute resourcefully

  • A self-starter who is able to work with senior leadership comfortably and takes tasks from start to finish

  • Knowledge of the social impact landscape including social entrepreneurship, nonprofits, or corporate social responsibility is a plus.
