Senior Graphic Designer


About You:

You are a visual communication and branding guru. You think in typefaces, color and Illustrator and believe in the power of graphics to communicate world-changing ideas. You enjoy building brand systems and working collaboratively with writers, marketers, social media magnets, and thought leaders to evoke a brand’s ethos and tell an impactful story. You are hungry to grow professionally, but want to do some good while doing it. You can also create a cohesive brand identity, attention-grabbing graphics for event marketing and social while overseeing company-wide design production and inventory. 

You love developing solid designs for a variety of communication media and developing creative strategies. You’re a collaborative team-player, willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done.  There’s no task too small. You are flexible enough to adapt to changing circumstances, but able to see the forest through the trees to maintain brand guidelines. Most importantly, you’re ready for a huge and exciting challenge and you can make a strong team even better.

  • Manage the creative process for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communication, newsletters and marketing materials

  • Ability to handle a high-volume of design production needs across recurring newsletters, real estate development presentations and corresponding graphics, weekly podcast and social media graphics, visuals components for campaigns, infographics, reports, and more

  • Oversee the design, management, and inventory of all Notley brands and ensure that it is consistent and cohesive between brands

  • Manage the implementation of brand guidelines by executing existing standards as well as developing new standards

  • Work effectively in project management systems to ensure streamlined execution and delivery

  • Generate concepts and execute original content to support programming events, marketing campaigns, partnerships, and deck presentations

  • Manage the design and uploading process of all digital signage, understanding best practices for using a Content Management System

  • Deliver all projects on time

  • Ask for help when you need it and be willing to adjust your approach when needed

  • Provide regular updates to management and portfolio companies

  • Manage your small but nimble team of one Junior Designer

  • This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing


  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or other related field

  • At least two (2) years industry experience in the design field

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Keynote, and the ability to learn and work with new application

  • Experience with web and marketing design production

  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, able to meet and communicate at length about deadlines

  • Ability to work autonomously, but desire to be a part of a high-functioning team

  • Can do attitude paired with the ability to give and receive constructive criticism

  • Strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally

  • The ability to translate multi-stakeholder meetings into actionable deliverables

  • The ability to manage competing priorities

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience in an agency and/or with client-facing roles

  • Prior experience with nonprofits or impact-based organizations

  • Experience with video production and/or motion graphics

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional design at high volumes under tight timelines

  • The ability to collaborate cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization
