Job Description

Essential Functions 

Human Resources – 70%

The Human Resources Coordinator is a skilled people-person that provides administrative support for human resources and recruiting functions while simultaneously supporting managers and the senior leadership team to achieve organizational goals.  In addition to benefit administration, record-keeping, and file maintenance the Human Resources Coordinator will play a leading role in proactively identifying and engaging top talent and developing a robust pipeline of diverse candidates for both current and future hiring needs.

  • Provides the first level of support on general inquiries relating to benefits, payroll and recruiting
  • Support bimonthly payroll process by updating logs with new hires, changes, and terminations as well as communicating changes to appropriate channels
  • Assist with onboarding, creating first-week schedule, conducting I-9 verifications, providing benefits overview to new hires
  • Ensure benefit enrollment across medical, dental and vision as well as STD/LTD and Life Insurance followed by inputting data into HR system
  • Offboarding support; termination of benefits/scheduling of exit interviews
  • Handle employee verifications and issue employment letters as needed
  • Administer FMLA and leave of absences, meeting with employees who need to take leave and explaining the benefits as well as managing the backend processing of these leaves
  • Support in the implementation of various agency-wide initiatives, including but not limited to cultural activities, professional development, employee relations, etc.
  • Build strong relationships across Noble People and a reputation as a trusted partner that team members can come to for questions and concerns with both confidence and comfort

Recruiting – 30%

 The Human Resources Coordinator will also be responsible for proactively identifying and engaging with diverse top talent and developing an active pipeline of candidates to meet all hiring needs. They will collaborate with hiring managers across teams to ensure that we are attracting and hiring the right talent to support Noble People’s growth.

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles within the organization, including sourcing, screening resumes, scheduling and conducting phone interviews, and organizing in-person interviews
  • Build relationships with active and passive candidates to ensure a diverse and highly qualified talent pool
  • Prepare recommendations to hire, offer letters and assist in hiring negotiations
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system to manage the pipeline of qualified candidates for both current and future positions
  • Establish strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure that there is clear alignment throughout the recruiting and hiring processes

  

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent combination of experience
  • Team player with a hands-on approach and positive attitude that can influence the best outcome for the business and employees
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff and demonstrated relationship-building skills
  • Reliability in handling confidential and sensitive employee and company data; Commitment to professionalism
  • Aptitude for learning new skills is essential
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication skills required - ability to consolidate data and create effective presentation materials
  • Excellent project management, organization, prioritization and multitasking skills are critical for success
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
