Human Resources | Hybrid in New York, NY | Full Time | From $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 per year

LOCATION: NYC – 3 days in office, 2 days WFH / Full time Perm or Temp to Perm

Salary $45,000.00-$55,000.00

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation with integrity and confidentiality
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
  • Provide clerical support to the HR department and manage HR schedules and calendars
  • Support the Talent Manager with recruiting and staffing logistics, submit job postings and schedule interviews
  • Answers frequently asked questions and refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff
  • May assist with payroll functions including processing and correcting processing errors
  • Assist with new hire orientation, onboarding & offboarding
  • Convey employee concerns and issues to management
  • Assist with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Our Must-Haves

  • General knowledge of HR practices and procedures - extremely important
  • Knowledge of payroll and benefits
  • Basic working knowledge of labor law and employment best practices
  • Proficient in Apple & Gmail platforms, MS Office (Excel), HRIS platforms and other related software
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in an HR administrative role
  • Associates degree in related field required or proven experience as an HR Assistant, staffing assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position
  • Experience working in media, advertising, digital, technology, and entertainment agencies is a plus
