Position:            Marketing Specialist

 

Department:   Sales and Marketing

 

Reports To:      VP, Brand Marketing

 

Location:           Washington, DC

 

Overview:         The Marketing Specialist is responsible for assisting in executing marketing programs that support the strategic sales and marketing vision of the company.

 

Primary Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Partner with Sales in designing product-specific strategy and marketing tactics including direct mail, e-mail, and promotional partnerships
  • Work with sales, operations and partners to develop, promote and execute products and services
  • Engage appropriately in social media
  • Work with internal resources to assist in the design and production of marketing materials (print, electronic, etc.)
  • Execute all digital campaigns
  • Administration of various other marketing initiatives
  • Measure and report results from programs and initiatives
  • Execute all events from start to finish, including (but not limited to): invitations, reminders, food, venue, nametags and follow-up
  • Maintain all appropriate sales and marketing systems including CRM

Requirements:

  • 2 - 4 year marketing experience preferably in a service business and/or event planning
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Analytical and critical problem solving
  • Process development, implementation and redirection
  • High attention to detail in fast paced environment
  • Excellent sense of prioritization and time management
  • Working knowledge of Dynamics CRM is a plus
