•Work cross-functionally with business leaders to forecast financial performance across a number of states in a highly-regulated manufacturing environment
•Generate and maintain a weekly, monthly and quarterly cash forecasts across multiple facilities and states combining receipt of A/R funds, incoming equity, A/P and construction payments, and communicating them on a weekly basis to the CEO and CFO.
•Managing vendor payments and collections to best utilize cash on hand
•Oversee the financial wellbeing and maintenance of several Cannabis facilities in multiple states.
•Generate and publish monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance to budget / forecast
•Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on financial analysis, working side by side with the leads of business units
•Oversee all financial compliance, audit, and tax requirements for business across multiple states (with support from parent company and external resources)
•Develop efficient and effective management reporting, KPI, and dashboards to accelerate company performance
•Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to support the finance and accounting function; establish short and long-range departmental goals and objectives
•Identify trends and highlight opportunities to drive growth and efficiencies
•Oversee ERP system and other business intelligence tools in all current markets and manage implementation in new markets
•Contribute to the preparation of board and investor presentations
Qualifications & requirements:
•BA/BS in Accounting or Finance related field; MBA or Masters in Accounting a plus
•Minimum of 10 years of finance experience with progressive responsibility
•Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth work place
•Proven track record in developing and growing teams, with a hands-on approach
•Experience with ERP system and business intelligence tools
•Excellent analytical, reasoning, problem-solving skills
•Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation, and communication skills
