Museum of Ice Cream is seeking a full-time Product Designer to join our growing team. This position will report directly to the Head of Product. The ideal candidate is passionate about transformative design, knowledgeable about production, able to work under tight timelines and handle multiple assignments.

  • Collaborate with Head of Product to create, develop, and source new products.

  • Manage product design initiatives from inception to deployment including but not limited to: design research, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, specs, asset delivery, and user assurance testing..

  • Ensure consistency and a holistic view of product design across all mediums and platforms.

  • Stay informed on current and future trends, workflows and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel, analogous and even unrelated areas.



  • Must be based in New York.

  • 3 - 5 years experience as a designer spearheading multiple projects.

  • An outstanding digital portfolio, showcasing a foundation in Typography, Motion, Interaction and Visual Design, and Ideation.

  • Degree in Product Design / Industrial Design / Graphic Design or other relevant field preferred.

  • Full knowledge of rendering software (AutoCAD, Rhino or SketchUp Pro) and Adobe CS.

  • Working knowledge of fabrication materials, processes and best practices.
