ABOUT THE ROLE:

Museum of Ice Cream is looking are looking for a self-driven, reliable logistics manager to develop, optimize, and organize logistics for the overall food-supply chain, warehouse support, and transportation of goods. In this role you will be a liaison between MOIC’s founders and suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers. This individual must manage and negotiate the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction of Museum of Ice Cream product.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle

  • Liaise and negotiate with product partners,  suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers

  • Foster growth, understanding and clarity between MOIC and product retailer & distributor

  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

  • Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments

  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints

  • Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce

  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets

  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

  • Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience with distributors, managing shipping and large corporate vendor systems

  • Experience in frozen goods

  • Excellent time management skills,

  • Positive, energetic & collaborative team player

  • Proven working experience as a logistics manager or similar role

  • Action-oriented and self-driven

  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Proficient in standard logistics software & programs

  • Exceptional  analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at a time
