Human Resources Director

Job Description

Our rapidly growing start-up is looking for an experienced and human Human Resources Director to ensure that all HR operations are carried on smoothly and effectively.  Candidate must be passionate about developing the #teammoic culture and growing our team into a global workforce community. You will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects.

We need an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters relating to HR compliance, recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee relations and training. Our HR Director will need to manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset to align our people practices with our business objectives. Our company takes great pride in providing a family culture for not only its employees but for every visitor and seeks a hyper disciplined contagious leader to manage its people operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and oversee all HR initiatives, systems and programs.

  • Create and administer compliant benefits program.

  • Advise on strategic organizational and compensation structure.

  • Recruit and retain the right talent for our multi-state growth.

  • Develop corporate policy and process for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, eeo compliance and recruitment.

  • Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development.

  • Serve as the point of contact for employment relations questions and concerns.

  • Building Internal Community Culture: Building internal learnings programs, team offsites/onsites, cross connection between MOIC Locations.

  • Anticipate and resolve litigation risks

Requirements

  • Proven experience as HR Director

  • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations in multiple states

  • Thorough knowledge of the full range of human resource management principles and best practices

  • A business acumen partnered with attention to the human element

  • Knowledge of data analysis and reporting

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Diligent and firm with high ethical standards

  • Strong desire to work as part of a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast- paced, out-of-the-box environment

  • Expertise in ADP, Clock-in systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and proficiency with Mac computers

  • Knowledge or ability to adapt to city, state and country regulations

  • BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA or certification in human resources will be a plus
