ABOUT THE ROLE:

PLEASE NOTE: To be considered, candidates must have a background in the Grocery Industry or closely-related professional experience.

Our rapidly growing start-up is looking for an individual with an intimate understanding of the Natural Food Channel. The ideal candidate must have a diverse skill set, including forecasting, working with distributors, trade rates, Inventory management, co-packers, line extensions, quality control, certifications, brokers, among others! 


Our Grocery: Operations Manager will need to oversee and forecast a crucial part of our operations while leading staff toward improving and streamlining our processes. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing day to day operations

  • Forecasting production and supplies

  • Inventory management of all materials and SKUs

  • Overseeing certification renewals (examples: Paleo, GFCO, non-GMO, kosher and other classifications, such as GS1)

  • Overseeing insurance renewal and payments

  • Supporting and managing product line extensions including finding and managing new co-manufacturers and co-packers and maintaining relationships with them

  • Overseeing invoice approvals for freight, production, fulfillment

  • Overseeing quality control

  • Continually monitor and improve efficiencies in all departments

  • Liaise with and oversee SPS commerce, broker, and marketing teams
