Senior Security Technician (CCTV / Access Control / Intrusion)

Location: Elmwood, LA | Field-Based Role

If you’re a solid security tech who knows your stuff, takes pride in your work, and is tired of sloppy installs or disorganized jobs — this is worth a look.

We’re looking for someone who can run work in the field, troubleshoot issues without handholding, and help keep projects moving.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing:

• Installing and servicing CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems
• Running and terminating low voltage cable (cleanly and correctly)
• Installing cameras, readers, panels, and door hardware
• Reading blueprints and knowing what needs to get done without constant direction
• Handling startup, testing, and system turn-up
• Troubleshooting issues in the field (not just reporting them)
• Working alongside PMs and other trades to keep jobs on track
• Helping guide junior techs when needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Real hands-on experience with commercial security systems (not just basic installs)
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and intrusion
• Someone who can work independently and figure things out
• Comfortable working in the field and moving between job sites
• Able to read drawings and wiring diagrams
• Shows up, communicates well, and takes pride in their work
• Valid driver’s license + TWIC card

  Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience with IP-based systems / networking basics
• Manufacturer certifications
• OSHA or safety training

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and work in field conditions including standing, bending, and climbing ladders as needed.
