THIS IS A FIXED TERM ROLE LOOKING FOR IMMEDIATE START FOR 3 MONTHS (with an option to extend).

Summary of Position:

The eCommerce Manager will be responsible for running & trading the UK, EU & AUS websites on the Morphe Brand to deliver market share growth online and deliver sustained YOY improvements in core metrics such as new customer acquisition, traffic, AOV, Conversion, LTV and CPA. They will be an expert in all things Shopify Plus, A/B testing, merchandising, CRM and on-site trading, growing the revenues and business through day to day trading and testing activities. They will be commercially minded recommending and executing the right plans to drive revenue and profit front of mind, analyse and report back on data to deliver continuous improvement, whilst having an affinity to the brand and what our target customers are looking for in terms of brand experience and offer.

Principle Accountabilities:
Growth & Strategy:

  • Manage and deliver against approved ecommerce budgets and P&Ls for UK, EU & AUS regions.
  • Develop and own future regional ecommerce budgets, driving profitable growth.
  • Lead the strategic direction for the UK, EU & AUS websites, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceeding sales targets.

Customer Experience & Brand Identity:

  • Oversee all content, offers, product placements, basic navigation, and UX (excluding global UX) to create an exceptional customer journey that aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Manage the daily site experience, ensuring a seamless flow for customers.
  • Collaborate with the Trade Marketing Manager to plan activations, promotions, bundles, and sampling programs to acquire and retain customers.
  • Own the development and execution of all localized customer promotions, including testing of thresholds, codes, and discounts.

Performance Optimization:

  • Drive key on-site KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, traffic, bounce rate, revenue) through targeted growth strategies.
  • Brief & support regional e-commerce programs for content, trade, blog, and seasonal campaigns, encompassing localised emails, blogs, banners, paid media, and website assets.
  • Manage and optimise website assets and site look and feel.
  • Analyse sales data, program performance, promotional effectiveness, and business trends to optimise product availability, positioning, and new product performance in local markets.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of sales, site metrics, web analytics, heatmaps, personalisation, and automated campaigns, translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Lead and plan for key trading periods (sales, Black Friday, holidays) according to brand guidelines to achieve sales targets.

Partnerships & Collaboration:

  • Partner with Marketing to develop and execute localised CRM, Loyalty, and Affiliate programs in collaboration with global teams.
  • Collaborate with Operations and the stock management team to optimise site merchandising & demand planning for increased profitability and revenue.
  • Work closely with the digital agency to ensure performance marketing activities are optimized for maximum ROI and controlled CPA within budget constraints.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Maintain weekly reports on e-commerce and site trading performance.
  • Regularly present key performance metrics to senior management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ yrs experience of operating at Ecommerce Manager level in an agile and fast paced business
  • Prior experience in a multi-channel retail environment or other customer-focused technology products. Retail / beauty experience is highly desired
  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends and technologies
  • Ability to analyze data, strong commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics & Shopify
  • Experience in running CRM
  • Experience in UX testing including Google Optimise or similar platform.
  • A can-do attitude and ability to self-motivate in a highly agile environment
  • Excellent team player
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with local and global stakeholders
  • Experienced in directly managing third party vendors
  • Ability to adapt quickly and react to shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Hybrid working - 3 days per week in our Marylebone office and 2 days from home
